Challenge

With the demise of Regional Development Agencies, East Lindsey District Council wanted to develop a partnership approach to managing the visitor experience. Aware that tourism structures were changing beyond recognition they needed to act fast. The Council approached LiveTourism to coordinate the development of a new tourism partnership.

Solution

Using the VisitorJourney¬©, we worked with East Lindsey District Council and stakeholders to advise and help develop a private/public sector partnership. Three priorities were identified, focusing on 1) effective marketing to existing and new audiences 2) product revitalisation and development, and 3) delivering customers’ quality expectations. With LiveTourism support, the private sector stepped up to shape the new evolving partnership that they were comfortable with and are now the driving force to achieving the three key objectives and action plan we identified.
