Life with LiveTourism
Ann is our queen of quality. A tourism assessor by trade, she knows everything there is to know about how to deliver the perfect customer experience. She loves nothing more than helping tourism and leisure businesses and is ever ready with practical suggestions and expert advice. At the weekend you’ll find her mystery shopping as a spectator at football and cricket matches. All in the name of quality, or so she tells us…
Life before LiveTourism
Ann has been a quality assessor since 2007, with her latest role as lead assessor for VisitEngland’s Visitor Attraction Quality Scheme. She trains new assessors and moderates the team, as well as visiting attractions across the country – so many, she’s lost count! In her spare time she assesses motorway service areas and racecourses, as well as reviewing candidates for the prestigious England for Excellence Awards.
Ann’s career started out in the golfing sector where she rubbed shoulders with the likes of Nick Faldo, Sandy Lyle and Greg Norman. She then moved across to tourism, spending 20 years at Leeds Castle. Well, they do say it’s the ‘loveliest castle in the world’.
