Life with LiveTourism
Mandy is our founder director. She launched LiveTourism in 2004. We are sure there must be days when she wonders why. But then we remind her that it was the obvious way to go after twenty years developing quality visitor experiences for destinations, tourism organisations and many different businesses.

As soon as Mandy had registered the LiveTourism name and bought a new briefcase, she developed the VisitorJourney© concept. This powerful management tool has now been adopted by many organisations including VisitBritain and the Premier League Football Association.

To film buffs, we say: forget the boys. All our clients love Mandy Lane.

Life before LiveTourism
Before Mandy took the plunge with LiveTourism in 2004 she was Head of Quality for the English Tourism Council (now VisitEngland). She had the heavy responsibility for quality standards in England including reviewing, developing and monitoring national quality and accessibility standards, benchmarking initiatives, quality assessment and social inclusion. She also oversaw the work of regional tourist boards and assessors. Mandy first perfected her training skills as Cabin Services Training Manager for British Airways where she created innovative training methods for BA cabin crew. Somehow these days Mandy manages (just about) to find time for rowing. That’s rowing as in cox and oars, not shouty arguments.
